Sandra & Ernesto: our little family

Dear visitor,

If you are reading this is, probably, because I gave you the link for some reason. I made this blog as a nice way to introduce to you my little family. Here you can find a little bit about our lives and some pictures... but first of all, let me introduce myself.

This is me. My name is Sandra and I'm from a city near Barcelona. This picture of me is from 2011 but I think it shows an important part of me: I'm a happy and positive person who always loves to smile (and ice creams, yes!). I have a degree in Administration, but I have a lot of experience in Help Lines. I also have a lot of hobbies, like scrapbooking, DIY, baking, cross stitch, crochet, makeing soaps, paint, reading books, bike, photography, music, cinema and more...

I always wanted to have a dog, so in 2008 I decided to buy this little one, Homer. I found him in a store, he was biting the lock of his cage. I asked the seller if I could pick him for a moment. She opened the door and gave it to me, and since the very first moment that I looked in his eyes, I fell in love with him. In this picture he was only 3 months old. He was a cute dog, but don't you think his eyes look sad? So I thought that he needed a friend... yeah!

So Homer and I went to a store, and to another store, and to another store... and in the last one, we saw this little lady (well, in fact she is two weeks older than Homer). I said to the seller: "could you please open her door to see if they like each other?". She did it, and this cute lady ran to Homer and they startet kissing each other. They fell in love! And me too! I named her Lisa.

Don't you think that now Homer's eyes look happier? Yes! They had puppies several times, some of them didn't survive (it was so sad) and some of them are living in Spain.

In 2011 i met this guy... Ernesto. He is from the the Basque Country, but he moved to Barcelona when he was young. When I met him, he was living in Copenhagen. He is a scientist and works as a Project Manager in Evolva (www.evolva.com). He is a responsible, intelligent and generous person. I fell in love with him and happily, Homer and Lisa too. And more happily, he fell in love with us! Yeah!

So in 2012 Homer, Lisa and I moved to Copenhagen. I started studying Danish and having a lot of fun with Ernesto. We were a little family but...

... omg! In 2014 Lisa had puppies again! She had two: Leia and Han Solo (yes, I like The Simpsons and Star Wars!). We found a home for Leia with a dear friend who lives in Mallorca (and she also has another dog, so Leia has a friend). And...

... we kept Han with us! He was (and still is) so small and he was having a lot of healthy problems (he is fine now). We couldn't say goodbye to him so he stayed with us. After that, we decided to neuter both males (I mean the dogs, not Ernesto!).

So, now I'm working in the kitchen of the restaurant Rub&Stub as a volunteer. And we are enjoying our live in Copenhagen together.

Having a lot of fun...

... and being a family.
